Morning Star
The elevated tee on the first hole offers spectacular panoramic views to the Sierra Estrella Mountains and the course below. This short 359-yard downhill par 4 gives the golfer a great opportunity to get the round off to a good start. The best position off the tee is the right center of the fairway. This allows an open approach to the green which is set on a right to left axis. However, a shot hit too far right can be captured by the fairway bunker or settle in a deep grass hollow which blinds the shot to the green. A large deep greenside bunker guards against any shots hit left of the green. |
